There are several low-cost gas barbecues on the market with dubious construction quality.

The Weber SpiritII E310 offers all of the important features at a low price, making it a standout grill in its price category.

It made our list of best gas grills.

Its remarkably large grilling surface can accommodate roasting a turkey weighing up to twenty pounds, and its precise controls and added features make it the most popular model in the Weber Spirit range.

Weber Spirit II E310 Gas Grill Overview

Weber Spirit II E310 Gas Grill Review

From the new ll Spirit series, we recommend the Weber SpiritII E310. Weber delivered a long-awaited upgrade to this grill series in April 2018.

contains three stainless steel burners that produce 30,000 BTUs per hour. With the Electronic Crossover ignition system, lighting those burners is as simple as pressing a button.

This grill has a 424 square inch cooking area plus a 105 square inch warming rack, totaling 529 square inches of pure grilling perfection. It has ample room for your family and a small gathering of your closest friends.

The Weber Spirit E310 Gas Grill offers the quality and performance level to justify the price tag, with features such as porcelain enameled Flavorizer bars, an easy to see fuel indicator, stainless steel side tables, and a center-mounted thermometer.

What We Like:

  • Dimensions and Space A twenty-pound turkey is no laughing matter, and the Weber SpiritII E310 handles it with easily on its large cooking surface. We appreciate the stainless steel tables on the sides of the grill, but we wish they folded down like the two burner Spirit versions.
  • Performance We appreciate that you can fine tune the heating using the burner settings to create direct and indirect heat zones, which gives you complete control over your heat. The Flavorizer bar system is a novel feature that collects sizzling drippings during cooking and restores the flavor to the dish.
  • Cleaning Ease The liquids that are not vaporized by the Flavorizer bars are collected in the grease management system, which includes an inclined grease tray and a catch pan located a safe distance away from the burner. The grease tray glides easily in and out of the cabinet for fast cleaning, and the catch pan is disposable.

What We Don’t Like:

  • Heavy and bulky If you have limited room, the stainless steel tables might be difficult to use since they do not fold down like the two burner versions. This type is also quite heavy, requiring the assistance of more than one person for setup and transportation.
  • Simple to Dent We discovered that some consumers claimed that their Weber Spirit E310 Gas Grill came damaged due to components made of lower quality stainless steel. Even if you buy your E310 locally, be sure to inspect it for dents before installing it.
  • Installation is difficult. Aside from its apparent weight, the Weber Spirit E310 also comes with some very difficult instructions and various pieces, so we suggest that you tackle its installation with the assistance of a friend. It took us around three hours to put everything together.

What’s the build quality like

Weber Spirit II E310 Gas Grill Review

Putting this grill together might be a difficult operation that will take many hours to complete before you can use it.

There are multiple distinct pieces, and luckily the instructions (which are solely in image form) are rather clear, and all parts are wrapped and labeled. It is a bit of a beast to move, so you may want to have someone assist you.

The Weber Spirit E310 Gas Grill measures 63-inch by 52-inch by 32-inch when fully constructed with the lid open. Despite being readily damaged during shipment, it is rather robustly made, and Webers grills are noted for being incredibly durable.

The stainless steel side tables are useful for additional prep space or food platters and provide a strong vibe to the design.

One thing we should mention about the Spirit line is that it is the only Weber line that is NOT manufactured in the United States.

Weber.

We don’t feel it has the better quality construction of other brands, but it does have a lot to offer people looking for a gas barbecue with as many amenities in a cheap price.

Invest in a high-quality grill cover to protect your grill from the weather and keep it performing well for years to come.

iGrill 3 compatible

The Weber iGrill 3 Bluetooth thermometer is compatible with all Spirit ll gas grill models. These are available for purchase individually.

It’s a pity Weber didn’t include this with the grill, but I believe it’s worth the money if you do a lot of roasting or want to experiment with smoking on your gas barbecue.

You can attach up to four temperature sensors to the iGrill 3 and monitor your food on your iPhone or Android phone during the cooking process.

On the app, you can also see how much gasoline is remaining.

How well does the Spirit ll E310 perform?

We got to put the Weber Spirit E310 through its paces after it was completely constructed.

Weber always appears to offer high-quality grilling results, and the Spirit E310 is no exception.

It takes a twenty-pound liquid propane tank (not supplied) and has an easy-to-read fuel indicator that shows you precisely where you stand in terms of fuel.

The Electronic Crossover ignition system activates three 32,000 BTU-per-hour burners at the press of a button.

Because each burner has its own control, you may use the various control settings to create indirect and direct heat zones. The Weber Spirit E310 is a formidable performer for a grill of its size.

The unique Flavorizer bars and black porcelain-enameled cooking grates distinguish the Spirit E310. The Flavorizer bar system is made up of angled bars that capture sizzling drippings as you cook, vaporize them, and then restore the flavor to your meal.

Delicious!

Even better, any fluids that do not be vaporized by the flavor bars are sent along the grease management system and collected in an easy-to-clean grease tray and catch pan.

The grease tray easily slips out for cleaning, and the disposable drip pan may be dumped in the garbage and replaced.

Not only are the porcelain enameled cast iron cooking grates excellent for heat retention, but they are also simple to clean, and the burner tubes can be cleaned with a light brushing with a stainless steel brush.

Overall, we were quite pleased with the quality of our dinner after firing up this grill. as well as the Spirit 310 model’s simplicity of use and cleaning.

Weber Genesis

The Weber Genesis series is the next step up from the Spirit. You’re probably thinking whether the Spirit is enough for you, or if it’s worthwhile to pay a little more and get a Genesis ll E-310 or one of the other Genesis models.

Lets see how these two lines of grill compare.

Both grills feature exceptional build quality and the degree of performance that we’ve come to expect from Weber, but the Genesis series is more expensive and has one important distinction.

Stainless steel burners, gas gauges, enclosed gas storage, thermometers, and porcelain-enamel cast iron grates are standard features on both the Spirit and Genesis models. They also both have a variety of ranges that include both basic versions and ones with additional features.

So, whats the difference?

Quality construction. Although the Spirit series is beautifully constructed, the Genesis line has a higher grade stainless steel structure that is meant to endure.

However, high-quality construction will cost you more, but it will most likely be worth it in the long run if you are seeking for a long-term investment.

If the Spirit series is more in line with your budget, you will still receive an excellent quality grill with numerous attractive features, but you may feel that the build is a bit lacking.

Should You Buy the Weber Spirit E310 Gas Grill?

The Weber Spirit E310 Gas Grill may be the model for you if you’re seeking for a terrific cookout buddy.

We consider Weber grills to be the industry standard for dependability, and the Spirit E310 mainly meets the benchmark.

This grill has the size and power to suit the demands of a small party, thanks to its big cooking surface and 3-burner design. The Flavorizer bar system, electronic crossover ignition, completely enclosed cookbox, and accessible fuel indicator are all standout features. For a grill of this size, cleanup was fast and simple.
